Ava tossing up my most-liked sign (if I had to choose one). Friendship, understanding, compassion, and solidarity.

Oldest kid. Off to college in a couple of weeks. Thought I’d be a wreck when the time came but instead I’m finding myself excited — for him, his future, new experiences and becoming who he’s meant to be in this world.

Please tell me this stage of her not wanting to be photographed will pass because I love making pictures with her in them.
