I already shared this on fb but I’m just going to leave it here as well (because one day I’ll decide to print all these little squares). On 3/24 I said yes to this guy, the love of my life (after 25 years and 2 kids). We’re good at being a bit unconventional. Ha! I was always perfectly content with spending our days together without making it official, like Goldie and Kurt, but Brian had other plans and the kids’ wish came true.

Filed in ‘things I want to remember’. When he’s on night shift and sleeps during the day I find him like this — one arm placed on my side of the bed.

You can’t tell I’m actually a happy, open person here but we humans are beautifully complex, aren’t we? Sometimes pictures show us a side of ourselves that only others see.

Alicia (my sister), Penelope (my niece) and Rosie (the dog named after Penelope). My family makes an effort to get together as often as we can. This time we met out at my Mom & Darryl’s to hang out and make perogies. 1.13.19
